I'm in the habit (since many years) of using the space bar when I pan or move around the image. But in Affinity Designer the screen freezes and the little hand-symbol stays in a ”closed-fist mode”. If I try some additional clicking the whole software crashes and it even closes down the Mac OS and I'm brought back to the login window of Mac OS X star-up. My hope and wish is that this bug is removed at the next upgrade. I'm on a Mac Pro, Quad-core Xeon, 32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC, ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB, Mac OS X 10.10.5 on a Kingston SSD 256 Gb (on PCI-express card), additional 10 Tb of internal storage on 5 SATA bays, original Apple USB keyboard and Magic Mouse is used. Thanks /yeshe. Yes, to me it seems to be connected to a re-draw process too. If I just let go of the cursor for about 10-15 sec it releases itself. But, on occasion, it crashes instead and I'm brought back to the login window of the startup process of Mac OS. It happens even when I deliberately pick the hand-tool in the toolbox (instead of using the space-bar). ![]() Oct 30, 2014 - There's a lot to like about OS X Yosemite, Apple's brand-new. And while a support rep confirms that Adobe and Apple are looking into it,. Aug 19, 2015 Just tested with CS6 and Mac OS X 10.10.5. Created a text frame, typed '1234'. Copied to the Clipboard. Returned to Finder. Pressed Cmd-F to open the Find window. The document I'm working on contains a mixture of pixel and vector layers. Install adobe on my computer. All in all, about 75 layers. Image size: 4383 × 3103px Having worked for years in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop I'm not used to this and it is a real nuisance, to say the least! I hope you can fix it because there are so many other things about your software that I truly like and I'm hoping to say good-by to Adobe as soon as possible. Thanks /yeshe. I'm having the exact same problem. It's unpredictable and has happened many, many times for me on many different files. I thought maybe it was due to large or complex files but I've had it happen even on 1000x1000 px files with only 1 or 2 layers. Then I thought maybe I had too many other apps open so I tried closing other apps. No difference. I'm led to think it's a bug because Affinity Photo has been able to speedily process much more complicated commands without hiccup. My usual method of combatting this problem is to immediately stop moving my curser, clicking buttons etc., and just be motionless. Typically it takes 5-10 seconds for AP to recoup and be back to normal. If I try to click or do anything during the freeze I will likely get a complete crash. Super annoying. Nothing will download on the app store for mac pc. A fix would be hugely appreciated. Macbook mid 2010 Mac OS 10.13.3 Affinity Photo 1.6.7 Planar PX 1910M 1280x1024 monitor. Re-create the Adobe application preferences file to eliminate problems that a damaged preferences file can cause. The main preferences file is called 'Adobe [Product Name] [Product Version] Prefs.psp.' The preference file's location is /Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe [Product Name] [Product Version] Settings/Adobe [Product Name] [Product Version] Prefs.psp Important: The user library folder is hidden by default in Mac OS X 10.7 and later. If you need a quick way to reset your preferences, you can do that in many Adobe applications by using a keyboard shortcut while launching the product. Hold Cmd-Shift-Option immediately after you double-click the application icon. See this video for a walkthrough on resetting Photoshop's preferences: For additional instructions, search your product's Help system for “restore preferences.”.
